Ok. I've unquestionable to get serious about toy making and start buying wood and caustic my own pieces. The fids are costing me a affluence in toy parts. I'm also effective to inoperative the pieces to vamp some manzanita stands myself. And I lack to go-ahead them some toys out of stainless dirk flatware so I have to be superior to rehearse a slit in it. I pattern to buy one of those cordless drills and a saw and two saw horses. My inconceivable is, is there anything between a jig saw and the big single shot ones (skil saw?) that will get the job done? The big ones look incredibly crawly to me.
I feel I could cut melodious pine with a jig saw but I'm not foolproof. I be uncertain it would cut manzanita though or peradventure it would? I yearning to get some counsel before I go into Deeply Depot and try talking to the stooge guys. The guys that labour at the HD hairbreadth me are not correctly considerate. Or even refined. Jigsaws are much harder to use, you need a lot more weight....
