Question: I have tried to knit two diffrent dog sweaters and failed miserably both times. the first had a way too knotty design, and with the seccond one i am very certon that the leg holes are going to be way too young.

and now i don't know what to do.

Answer: This one is a unambiguous sweater. You can embellish it if you wish with a pattern stitch or fairisle, but I about it looks nice even just striped or plain.

Question: I'd like to knit my cheap Maltese dog a sweater, but all the knitting pattern's I've found are for larger dogs! Does anyone be versed of some knitting patterns for smaller dogs? Thanks! (I've already tried knittingdirectory, thanks.)
