Question: The repetition says: Work 2.5 ins in pat, ending with RS row. What does ins contemplate?

Answer: Profession 2.5 ins in pat = Work two and a half inches in the order, or enough rows to measure 21/2 in.
ending with RS row = The last row you vocation should be a row in the Right Side (front) of the garment (as opposed to the Wrong Side, or back of the garment).
